Private training options for individuals or groups

Christina Davis is committed to being as accessible to educators as possible. As a whole, the early childhood education system (and largely, education in general) is underfunded and underappreciated. Because of this, Christina can be booked in-person or remotely, for individuals or large groups. She offers flexible pricing to educators interested in learning from her, and is registered through the ECETP, QS, and Aspire registries. Please reach out to Christina directly to inquire about private presentations, or connect via ECETP or Quality Stars.

Where The Magic Happens: Taking Play Based Learning Outdoors

It's widely known that play is the appropriate mode of learning for our young learners and that nature and being outdoors can have many regulating effects - but how can we find a balance of providing meaningful play experiences to children while giving them opportunities to be outdoors? In this training, Christina will walk your staff through what holds them back from being outdoors, suggestions for improved utilization of resources and available space, and a written list of their needs and wants to make play-based learning outdoors a reality in their classrooms.

Risky Vs. Reckless: Inviting children to take healthy risks while keeping them safe

Inviting children to learn to take chances and experiment with healthy risk is extremely important to their development - and equally important is our role, as their caregivers, in keeping them safe. In this training, Christina walks parents and educators alike through the steps of evaluating a situation for safety hazards and opportunities for healthy risk while maintaining a space that keeps children safe.

Process art in the classroom - the when, the how, and the why

"Process Art" has becoming more and more of a "buzz word" in education over the past several years. Christina is available to explain why so many programs have been making the shift from product driven crafts to process rich experiences, when these shifts can happen, and how to make it seamless within your classrooms without demonizing product crafts.
